Mailbox folders, automatic filing, and safer AI processing
- Mailbox folders now appear in the sidebar under Mail, mirroring the folder tree you see in Outlook, each with its own message count.
- Move mail by dragging it onto a sidebar folder or with the new Move to Folder command; moves happen on the server, so Outlook and other devices see them too.
- Create folders in the app; deleting is only possible while a folder is completely empty and always goes through Deleted Items so it stays recoverable.
- Tag rules can file mail automatically: map a tag to a folder in Settings, and confidently tagged inbox mail moves there on its own, with a folder activity log and one-click undo.
- Triage can be narrowed to a single folder, and a whole folder can be settled at once as tasks or as spam.
- Opening a message shows placeholder lines while content loads, and moving between messages is noticeably faster.
- Mail analysed by the assistant is hardened against instructions hidden inside crafted emails, and Settings asks for confirmation before an external AI endpoint receives mail content.
- Added English and German localization.
New pearl identity, one-click local models, and reliability
- Introduced the new pearl identity across the sidebar, launch screen, quick capture, and a redesigned onboarding welcome; the mark animates while sync or AI work runs.
- Rebuilt the app icons from the new tile artwork, with Amber as the default style.
- Simplified local intelligence setup to a single card: one Download fetches the chat and embedding models with combined progress, and Remove frees both.
- Added sync health monitoring, a local mutation queue, and automatic database backups.
- App termination now waits for pending persistence and local-model shutdown with a bounded fail-safe.
- Chat mail cards open their message directly instead of relying on the mail list window.
Reliable Exchange authentication fallback
- Restores Exchange sign-in in Automatic mode when a server rejects Negotiate and falls back to NTLM, while keeping failed-password retries safely bounded.
Reliable Exchange sign-in and clean system typography
- Fixed clean-install validation on managed Macs by removing the bundled Geist Mono font and using macOS system typography throughout.
- Improved Exchange sign-in reliability across load-balanced Basic, NTLM, and Negotiate frontends while limiting each request to one credential attempt.
- Added advanced connection controls and an offline demo path directly to onboarding.
- Added recipient suggestions, clearer reply-template placeholders, and richer new-message composition.
- Rendered structured assistant replies more clearly and kept assistant controls stable as the window resizes.
- Expanded the People workspace with groups, contract planning, employment history, and timeline views.
- Improved learned spam and action classification while preserving every user correction and feedback record.
Reliable startup, Exchange sign-in, and workspace layout
- Fixed a launch failure on clean Macs by resolving the bundled app font from the signed app's standard Resources folder.
- Improved Exchange onboarding: password edits are saved only when you continue or test, failed saves can be retried, and the less-secure app-data option can be selected without repeated Keychain access.
- Preserved existing Keychain credentials when switching secret-storage methods.
- Refined workspace responsiveness and layout with lazy space loading, a stable assistant control, a non-overlapping progress footer, and better handling of narrow mail rows and long tags.
Reliable installation on managed Macs
- Fixed a macOS verification warning that could appear after downloading SeqDesk Mail on some managed Macs.
- Improved compatibility with Finder, command-line, and enterprise extraction tools.
Multiple accounts, local models, and signed updates
- Added multiple isolated mail accounts with secure credential storage and fast account switching.
- Redesigned onboarding with HZI server suggestions, Kürzel guidance, and clearer authentication feedback.
- Added an explicit mailbox privacy confirmation before any AI processing, including a patient-data warning.
- Added managed on-device models, signed in-app updates, quick capture, richer projects, people timelines, and full mail composition.
- Improved attachment safety, task and calendar workflows, widgets, search, and release verification.
Secure onboarding and notarized direct distribution
- Added attachment browsing, outgoing-mail tracking, and safer account onboarding.
- Introduced a release pipeline that signs, notarizes, staples, and verifies the distributed app.
- Published a universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
